Dubai is the largest and most dynamic city of the United Arab Emirates. The world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa, the man-made Palm Jumeirah island, luxury hotels and wide beaches make it a popular destination all year round. In Old Dubai, take a traditional abra boat across Dubai Creek and wander through the gold and spice souks. On the modern side, Dubai Mall, the evening Dubai Fountain show and the night views of Dubai Marina await. An hour from the city the desert begins: jeep safaris, camel rides and dinner in a Bedouin camp are among the most memorable moments of any trip. The best season is October to April — warm but comfortable.
